i do hate crowds today.
Yesterday, i went to a mall and several local stores with my relatives. it was the last two days before Ied and it successfully making me headache.
At the first, we walked to the local shop district at jalan Sultan agung, it was 10 at the morning, and we went to one local store. it was full of youngsters and teenagers. selecting rows full of t-shirts which in my eyes all of them are looked the same. my nieces are a bit dissapointed because the stores that he wanted to visit was closed because it's near Jumatan. but the satpam says the stores will open again at 1. So, for the sake that the boys could do jumatan, we went BEC because the nearest mosque was somewhere there. my aunt says she wants to survey for the price of Blackberry gemini at BEC. and so we went to BEC and wait for the boys there. then i asked why would she change her phone with Blackberry. and then she replied: " no i'ts not for me, it's neng verra who wants to change her phone". FYI, neng verra is 11 y'old girls who's now at the 6 grade of elementary school and i just..
:O
And then i asked neng verra, why blackberry, and then she simply replied: " I just get bored with my last phone"
.. and again i just get..
:O
Anyway, finished with this blackberry and jumatan. we went back to local store again. the stores still closed so we wait for 20 minutes till the stores open. and 20 minutes later the stores is finally open, and suddenly the teenagers from many directions appear and within 10 minutes they form a queue in front of the entrance of because it was full of people. i got a bit shocked seeing this event's and lost my appetite to seeing around at the same time. wondering why would this youngsters and teenagers act like they have to waste their money immedietly?!?!
and now at the mall. in this place I saw a very big huddle. very much people overrun boxes full of discount clothing which price *to my opinion* is still expensive, i saw the muslimah clothing spots (most of them are from expensive brands) full with ladies most of them wearing hijab, picking many clothes like they have a big cupboard that has to be filled before Ied or they would sinned.
Then I went to supermarket. i need to buy sanitary napkins because mine are out of stock at home. then i just go directly to sanitary spot, taking what i need and directly go to cashier. and guess what i saw: a very crowded long queues. most of them aren't taking one or two or three items, they all bring trolleys full of goodies. most of stuffs were instant food and beverages and raw material for cooking. it take 5-10 minutes for one shopkeepers to serve one costumers since they have a lot of stuff to be count not including the time that wasted when they have a problem such as they can't find the price of in the computer or the problem with the card that they use for paying all that stuff.
It takes about 20 minutes for me to wait in the line, seeing all this people interact with the shopkeeper. most of them spent money above IDR 200.000. for their fully trolley, and it got me thinking about how rich was the owner of the supermarket and the Indonesians, or, why are this people are so in hurry and shopping like there's no tomorrow and the zombies of the resident evils will come in a moment while alice, blade, and buffy still stuck in the mudik currents ?!?!?
Isn't this ramadhan? or armageddon?
I saw ramadhan in this city (i don't know in other place) almost run out of its meaning. some industries and businesses have made it such a great momentum to increase their profits in this holy month (but anyway business is business. so i cant 100% judge them wrong). some youngsters and teenagers are prefer to hang out around in the fancy restaurant in the name of silaturahmi. eat luxurious food and beverages. and make other people wait 1-2 hours for their dinner, while this youngsters and teenagers they come early (usually 2 hours) before the break fasting time (without ordering any food before the break time) instead of staying in mosque and do tadarus. sinned of me for doing the same thing and let a young couple with new born child didn't get chair because I have served the last chair for my fiends who even came late!
what's wrong with us, our dear beloved moeslem? Isn't we moeslem, supposed to hold our nafs? not only from hunger and thirst, but also from things that we don't need?
then i walked through my kitchen, opening the freezer of our refrigerator.
seeing that 1x1x 0.5 m boxes was full with raw meat, meat ball, chicken, chicken nugget, etc....
headache: still contiues...
